CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BARS

Wonderfully thick, smooth, and buttery peanut butter bars of peanut butter and chocolate. 


I would not use the term "best" in too many recipes, since many different versions of a dish exist. However, without doubt, I can tell that these are the BEST, THE GREATEST AND THE MOST DELICIOUS peanut butter bars in life! 

This recipe for peanut butter bars has been a family tradition for several years, they're absolutely addicting, and you're going to want to consume the whole pan yourself. TAKE IT AS A WARNING!


INGREDIENTS:


– 250 gr.Of quick-cooking oats. 

– 220 gr.Of packed light brown sugar. 

– 200 gr.Of All-Purpose Flour. 

– 1 Tsp.Of baking powder. 

– 1/2 Tsp.Of baking soda. 

– 130 gr.Of softened butter. 

– 75 gr.Of chopped peanuts. 

– 1 Cup.Of semi-sweet chocolate chips. 

– A large beaten egg. 

– 1 can.Of Sweetened Condensed Milk. 

– 1/2 Cup.Of Creamy Peanut Butter. 


DIRECTIONS:


– Step 1: Heating to 350°F. In a large bowl, add the oats, and combine it with all other dry ingredients: brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and baking soda. 


– Step 2: Cut the butter into tiny bits so the butter resembles a fine crumb. Add in the chopped peanuts. 

Reserve 1 cup and half of the crumb mixture, and mix the leftover with the beaten egg.    


– Step 3: Spread uniformly in a 13.9-inch pan. 


– Step 4: Bake it in a preheated oven for  15 minutes.   

Stir sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter together until well blended. 


– Step 5: Pour the mixture gently over the freshly baked crust. 


– Step 6: Mix the reserved crumbs with chocolate chips. Sprinkle the nuts over the peanut butter. 


– Step 7: Bake for another 15 more minutes. 


– Step 8: Remove it from the oven and let it cool for few minutes. Divide into bars.
