Butter boiled corn on the cob recipe


 



 

Last year when I posted about how much I wanted to roast corn, several people told me that the best way to cook corn was to boil it with a cup of milk and butter. I finally get to try it and I agree - this is the most delicious way to cook corn.

 

Corn tastes delicious, fresh and rich. You will be so obsessed with it that you won't even care what is being served.

 

No need to spread butter all over the corn. This corn really has a buttery taste.

 

Just a pinch of salt and pepper and this corn on the cob is ready to go.

 

In fact, if you use a bar of salted butter, you may find that you don't even need to add any salt.

 

Some people add sugar as well, but I find the corn available here during the summer is actually sweet enough.

 

If you suspect the corn is a little lacking in flavor, you may want to add some sugar to give it flavor.

 

* Ingredients:

 

° 4 cornflower (peeled, excised leaves and umbrellas)

 

° butter

 

° salt pepper

 

* Instructions :

 

Bring plenty of well salted water to a boil.

 

Immerse the corn on the cob in the water and cook for 10 minutes.

 

Drain the ears. Season with salt and pepper and cover generously with butter. tasting
