3 cups and 6tbsp cake flour
3 cups sugar
6 eggs (room temp) +2 eggs yolks
3 sticks butter (room temp)
8oz sour cream
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt.
Add butter and sugar to mixing bowl- mix until well combined and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well. Soft flour and salt. Add vanilla and sour cream. Mix well. Mix flour one cup in a time. Scrap side of bowl, mix 1 more min.
Preheat oven to 350
Butter and lightly flour baking dish. Pour half of the cobbler topping into the pan
Spoon in cake mixture. Halfway thru add 2 tbsp of the liquid from the cobbler topping and swirl into cake batter using a butter knife, then add remaining batter. Bake at 350 for 1 hour until tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Let cook 10-15 before removing from pan. Add remaining topping to the cake.
Peach cobbler topping.
2 cups peaches chopped in half
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp white sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
Add all ingredients to sauce pan and cook on med for 5 mins. Set aside.
Glaze

2 cups powered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 salt
2 tbsp half and half
Mix ingredients in small bowl, set aside.
Tips
Sour cream and egg yolk are optional. Ive made this 5 times and for me it comes out for rich and moist
Spooning in some of the liquid helps give the cake a more peachy flavor throughout
Reserving half of the toppin helps ensure the presentation as some of of it may stick to the pan during baking process
